Its raining mytho's on small screen. After the announcement of Meerabai and Swami Narayan, Sagar Arts is all set to come up with the new story, the saga of a beautiful dancer, Amrapali.

We tired contacting Prem Sagar, "We are bound by the contract so can't reveal any thing. You better ask the channel about the same, " he states.

As per our khabroo, "The auditions for the same have already started but the show will take time to come on the floors. The production house is looking out for a fresh new face which can carry the character of Amrapali beautifully."

When asked about the channel on which the show will be aired, our source divulges that, "It is being pitched to Star Plus and Star One. Though nothing has been signed on the desk but the production house is contemplating on Star Plus."

The legend of Amrapali originated in the Buddhist Jataka Tales some 1500 years ago. This is a fascinating saga of love, intrigue and revenge of the beautiful dancer.
