Naturally, Riteish is all excited about the film and is looking forward to the experience. "I have worked in one of the segments of Ramu's Darna Zaroori Hai. In fact the short story that featured Amitabh Bachchan and me was directed by Ramuji himself.
But Warning should be unique since it's a full length film. Moreover, the 3D experiment should bring a new dimension (pun intended) to the film. I like Ramuji's vision here and I am now keen to see how he films it", says Riteish for whom this would be fourth film with Ram Gopal Varma.
While his first foray with the filmmaker was Naach, he was later seen in Darna Zaroori Hai. After that, he has been directed by Ramu in yet-to-be-released Rann.
"Yes, I have worked with him in three movies so far but I would call Rann as the first film where I had a full fledged outing. Otherwise in Naach [starring Abhishek Bachchan and Antara Mali in principal roles], I had an extended guest appearance while in Darna Zaroori Hai, it was just a few minutes role for a short story.
Rann is what I can term as the first ever meaty film with Ramuji", elaborates Riteish.
So is he the central protagonist in Warning considering his is the only name announced so far? "Well, for that Ramuji would be the best person to answer", comes an expected reply.
Meanwhile he has an exciting 2009 ahead with a huge line up of release ahead. "Yeah, it's going to be fun", smiles Riteish, "Aladin arrives on 14th August.
Then there is Rann which I have been told is slated for October. Do Knot Disturb and Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai are also lined up soon after. Meanwhile I embark on a two month start-to-finish shooting stint for Housefull. So as you can see, there is a lot happening."
