Those of you who were writing off Rani so soon, wait and read this one. While other heroines indulge in tall claims, Rani has quietly bagged the key projects of the season. While she is already working in Shah Rukh Khan`s home production Chalte Chalte, being directed by Aziz Mirza, the Mukherjee girl has also been cast by Ketan Mehta in his film based on the 1857 uprising.

The film stars none other than Aamir Khan in the role of Mangal Pandey.The latest on the Bengali babe is that she has been finalised opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Ashutosh Gowarikar`s new film, Swades.
