He may had a bad run at the box office with his last three releases but it seems like Akshay Kumar is all set to dominate Diwali 2009 coming October and the Eid coming in November.

In Diwali his Rs. 100 crore budgeted Blue will be battling at the box office with Salman Khan's Main Aur Mrs Khanna and Amitabh – Ritesh starrer Aladin. However, the November Eid will also witness a big clash with a huge film and big names involved.

On November 27th that coincides with Eid, De Dhana Dhan directed by Priyadarshan with the Hera Pheri team of Akshay, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal with Katrina Kaif is slated for a release and chances are it may clash with Karan Johar produced Qurbaan starring Saif, Kareena and Vivek Oberoi.

With his Kambakkht Ishq all set for a July 3rd release becoming hotter by every passing day, we can safely put our money on Akshay to dominate Diwali and Eid as well.
