Sankat City is a dark comic satire on city life: Rimi Sen
Rimi Sen was last seen in last year's De Taali. She will now be seen almost after an year in Pankaj Advani's Sankat City. Here is a brief tete-a-tete with her about her forthcoming film.

What are you playing in Sankat City ?
I play a tomboyish con woman. She loves to use street terms such as 'Teri Ma Ki'.

My character called Mona teams up with Guru ( Kay Kay Menon) to pull some scheme which blows up on our face and we land up in a soup.

Dilip Prabhavalkar, Anupam Kher and Chunky Pandey are the other important caste in this Moserbaer and Seven Entertainment production.

What attracted you towards this film?
I always like a strong script which Sankat City has. Each and every character has meaning and depth. And top it all, I am the only woman in the set up.

Does your character have a romance angle?
Nahi there is not much love rather we all are around trying to pull a fast on everybody else. Sankat City is a dark comic satire on city life.

How is the music of Sankat City ?
The music is pretty interesting and foot tapping. Music director Ranjit Barot has ably used the voices of Sukhvinder and Roop Kumar Rathod.

Working with Kay Kay Menon?
A very good actor, but more then that he comes across as a warm hearted individual. We got along very well.

And Director Pankaj Avani?
With Sankat City, Pankaj has proved that he is not only a good writer (Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na) but an able director as well.

He has really shaped the film well. I wish him all the best and hope the film does really well when it releases on 10th July.
