But while going gaga over Bipasha everyone forgot that she isn`t the only one with hot talent. There is one more person who is making inroads into her territory and that is Antara Mali. She proved her mettle in Road where she gave the hottest song and proved that she can act too. A jury for a popular awards which awarded her the Most Sensational Face of the year 2002, actually chose her over Bipasha, another hot contender for the slot.

What could have clinched the honour in her favour? On the grounds that the daughter of ace lensman Jagdish Mali, is also expressive and talented, the members of the committee felt she had an edge over the Bengali actress. Mali is also not in a wild hurry to grab every offer that comes her way and is being very selective about her choice of films. There's a glaring difference though – Antara has fantastic PR skills whereas a Basu believes that just like her svelte figure and revealing outfits get written about, the critics would be more than willing to write about her abilities as a performer too.
