This half-British, half-Kashmiri and curvaceous model is making all sort of news in the town. Linguistic shortcomings seem to be dogging this Anglo-Indian model in the beginning of her acting career in Hindi films. Earlier, Katrina was dropped from Vikram Bhatt's Saaya in which she was pairing alongside model John Abraham. Vikram was unhappy with Katrina's highly accentuated Hindi and replaced her with lesser-known actress Tara Sharma. Now it is learnt that Rahul Rawail too has dropped Katrina from his new film in which she was supposed to play the part of an NRI girl, opposite Sunny Deol.
"Why are people so concerned about my not knowing Hindi well? After all, I am taking Urdu lessons." , she asks. "I have more talent than a lot of actresses put together," the young lady defends herself further. But matter doesn't end here. Ever since she made her debut, Katrina has been more in the news for her alleged proximity to Salman Khan.
The moment you ask her anything about this, she blast, "I am not seeing Salman Khan, Please!". "I have met him just once at Olive where his sister was accompanying him," she clarifies. Whatever may be the truth, our advice is watch out when the Brat Khan is around!
