Santhosh Sivan may direct film on Sri Lankan issue

Noted cinematographer and director Santhosh Sivan is planning to use his experience when it comes to film based on terrorism.

His directorial debut happened with a flick titled Terrorist while he also worked with star director Mani Ratnam's hit film Dil Se which dealt with the terrorism taking place in the North-East region of India. It's been heard that Santhosh's next film as a director is also going to be about terrorism.

It will deal with the Sri Lankan Tamil issue. If everything goes right, then Santhosh will opt to get a special permission from the Lankan Government to shoot the movie in the jungle of Sri Lankan.

Meanwhile at the moment, he is busy assisting Mani Ratnam for Raavan.
