Once overweight Rani is apple of everyone`s eyes these days. Not only great offers are pouring in but she is back in social circulation. Her friends` list boast of names like Aamir, Shah Rukh, Anil Kapoor, Hrihthik and above all Vivek. The Mukherjee lass has landed films with all of them. Amid all the fun, films and friends, if there was something drastically wrong, it was her grievance that she never got her due as much as cousin Kajol did. Not as a human being but as an actor as well. And then the inevitable happened.

All of Kajol`s campwallahs – from Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra to Mani Ratnam, Shahrukh Khan and hold your breath, even Ajay Devgan, signed Rani on for their forthcoming ventures. We all have our little kingdoms. And we all have our yardsticks to measure up to. If after all the adulation, big banners, hits, she still nursed a secret grouse that made her pale in comparison to her talented cousin, it must have been simply her barometer to judge her talent against. Is best buddy Ash all ears?
