"People will always remember me as Sujal. There are certain characters that remain etched in the mind of viewers, " Rajeev told.
"People remember me as Rajveer Singh Shekhawat of 'Left Right Left' as well.
There are a lot of girls who come to me and say 'Hi Captain Rajveer'. But 'Kahiin To Hoga' had a wider audience. Not that I have suffered being remembered as Sujal, " he added.
He forayed into Hindi films with thriller "Aamir" and says his TV image hasn't marred his film journey.
" 'Aamir' was appreciated enough. I don't think Sujal ever came in my way - that character has instead always walked along with me, " he added.
Currently, Rajeev is hosting STAR Plus' game show "Sach Ka Saamna" and has won rave reviews for his confidence as the quizmaster. He will be seen on the big screen soon in British filmmaker John Owen's "Peter Gaya Kaam Se" and Saurabh Narang's "Return Gift".
