Aspiring singer in the serial ‘Meri Awaaz Ko Mil Gayee Roshini' Ashima Bhalla has gone down south, again. Like many other one-serial-wonder actors she also disappeared from Television.

She began her career in south and gradually paved her way to Hindi film industry. In spite sharing screen space with super-star Rajesh Khanna and veteran actor Mohnish Behl in ‘Pyar Zindagi Hai' her Bollywood career did not go any further.

Characteristically she also turned to television with the serial ‘Meri Awaaz Ko Mil Gayee Roshni', but the poor fate of serial saw its journey cut short in the generation of long running serials.

She was last seen in the reality show ‘Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena' alongside Irfan Pathan that reaped her some short-lived recognition. Now she is back to square one with decent offers in south.
