The chirpy Miss Zinta has been on the recieving end for a while now. Immidiately after 'Dil Chahata Hai' gossipmongers linked her to Aamir Khan. While Preity had pretty hard time denying all that crap, someone came up with her alleged link with December 13th attack on Parliament and that made spunky Zinta very mad.
"Why do I need to keep telling people that I am not secretly married to Aamir (Khan)? Neither had I anything to do with the December 13th attack on Parliament. The harder I try to clear things up, the more serious the rumours seem to become. It is therefore best I no longer entertain such silly questions", she says. Preity also denies that she and her leading man shared anything but a close working relationship on the sets of Dil Chahta Hai. "It was only after the film became such an enormous hit that people started talking about my closet affair with Aamir.
As if this were not enough, Aamir and I were also supposed to have got married. It is very unfortunate that a thorough gentleman and nice guy like Aamir was dragged through the mud like this. With two back-to-back releases with Shahrukh, I am afraid I will next be linked to him. So let me make it clear that its just coincidence I am working with him in a couple of projects and the question of an affair just doesn't arise."
