Tamil version of Jab We Met will be a hit: Imtiaz Ali

Bollywood filmmaker Imtiaz Ali says that Kannan, who is directing "Kanden Kadhalai", the Tamil remake of "Jab We Met", has carefully avoided the mistakes he made in the original version.

Speaking at the audio launch of "Kanden Kadhalai" in Chennai Friday, Imtiaz said: "I am confident that the remake too would be successful."

"Kandein Kadhalai" stars Bharath, Tamannah and Munna in the lead roles. The film has been directed by Kannan and Vidyasagar has composed the music for the film.

"Jab We Met" which released in 2007, starred Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor and was directed by Imtiaz Ali.
