Sanjay Dutt is happy. He has finally got the chance to do a political thriller.

The untitled film will be directed by Hyderabad-based Mani Shankar (of Mukhbiir fame), and will be set in real time with no songs or frills and will have only three main characters that never come face-to-face in the film. The film might just give Sanjay's career the much-needed boost.

The film is about draining off trillions of dollars from India and placing them in unknown locations across the world. Sanjay Dutt and Irrfan Khan will play two government agents who come together to bring together Rs 32, 000 crores in two hours. Kangna Ranaut will play the female lead. Sohail Makhlai will produce the film.

The story of the film is partly based on what Mani saw and heard when he was part of the staff in the Prime Minister's office from 1994-1995. The film will reveal the truth behind many international financial scams and scandals where India has been involved.
