Jimmy's latest film Haasil starring Hrishitaa Bhatt is carrying great reports. So impressed was director Vidhu Vinod Chopra that he immediately signed him to do a guest appearance in the Sunil Dutt-Sanjay Dutt starrer Munnabhai MBBS. Amongst newcomers Jimmy Shergill has been the chosen one.

What followed were some of the inconsequential releases writing off Jimmy's practically non-existent career. It was only Yash chopra's Mohabbatein that brought Jimmy back to the fore. He is now hoping Haasil to do what Mohabbatein did for him... be a feather in his cap!
