After Rakhi Sawant's much-hyped "Swayamvar" on TV, a hunt for the "Perfect Bride" will soon begin on STAR Plus.

Ten girls and five boys, along with the mothers of the boys will come together on the show in search of "India's Perfect Bride", said a press release from the channel.

In an attempt to impress the boys and their mothers, the participating girls will have to put their best foot forward through various tasks. Viewers will be able to support them with their votes.

The boys will also be required to display their grit by undergoing tasks that will test their physical and emotional abilities to win the "Perfect Bride".

"Marriage is undoubtedly the most desired attribute in our society. This show presents the concept of marriage in the true Indian spirit where girls marry not just the man of their choice but also a family, " said Anupama Mandloi, senior creative director, STAR Plus.

"We hope the show will resonate with everyone in the family because there is something for everyone in this show, " she added.

The star value in the show will be added by three actors - Amrita Rao, Shekhar Suman and Mallaika Arora Khan, who will play relationship experts and mentors to the participants.

The trio will guide the boys and girls in shortlisting their ideal match, while actors Megha Gupta and Vishal Malhotra will anchor the show.

"Perfect Bride" will premiere Sep 12 and will be on air every Monday-Friday at 10:30 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, it will be telecast at 10 p.m.
