After his personal and professional life went haywire, Aamir Khan's step brother Hyder Ali realized that he needed to change his name to Rehaan Khan. His friends suggested the name change to him.

Rehaan says, "Things have not been going right for me and my friends suggested that I change my name.

They made me believe that it will definitely help and change circumstances. I have become superstitious about it and have a new name now, Rehaan Khan."

He has finished working on two films with his new name– Raja Bundela's Dil to Deewana Hai with actress Sada and Triumph Card, an action film.
