Mahima turns to arty roles

After having disastrous run at box office lately, Mahima has decided to turn arty. She will be seen playing a shy tribal girl in writer-director-producer Iqbal Durrani's film titled Gandhi Se Pehle Gandhi.

The film is based on the life of legendary tribal leader Birsa Munda. This role is to be played by newcomer Sameer Kochar. She has also been signed for Tanuja Chandra's Vaasta in which she'll be playing a role of an ageing actress.
