Preity Zinta got a shock of her life when came to realise that someone has been masquerading under her name on a famous networking site Twitter and has 140,000 followers. That called for some action and Preity made her own id with the name ‘realpreityzinta'.

The actress, who was informed by a friend about her fake profile on the social networking site, said, "Just wanted to see for myself that someone was impersonating me! I felt that people were being cheated by a fake me. The fake was using various quotes of mine from old interviews. Ask her or him to show the dimple then we shall see!"

She has recently tweeted, "Will try to get my account verified and put up a photograph! Till then thanx to my dearest Karan. Love him to bits !!!"

While her pal director Karan Johar gave her a thumping welcome online, actor Riteish Deshmukh has sent her a "real kiss".
