Has Farah Khan dumped SRK for Akki? Eveyone is asking the same question in tinsletown these days and why not? The choreographer-cum-director has chosen to stand by her husband Shirish Kunder's decision to make her next directorial, ‘Tees Maar Khan', with Akshay Kumar and not with best pal Shah Rukh Khan.

Incidentally, Shirish has also written Tees Maar Khan and will be producing it along with Akshay's production house, which confirms the rumours that Farah's hubby and SRK don't share the best of rapport.

SRK had also given the nod to Tees Maar Khan to be directed by Shirish initially, then later had second thoughts about it. Shirish was also in talks with Shah Rukh Khan for another film- Joker, but that didn't work out as well.

Confirming the news a source said, "Farah was busy scripting her film, ‘Happy New Yea'r with SRK in the lead when Shirish managed to convince Akshay for ‘Tees Maar Khan'. He has been working on the subject since a long time. The film will go on the floors in March next year. This is the first time that Farah will be directing a film without SRK."

Farah was almost ready with her script for Happy New Year but the film got delayed. The source adds, "SRK is set to start working on Ra. One from early next year. It will be followed by Farhan Akhtar's Don 2. It obviously means that Farah's film will not start before 2011.

Ash Farah if everything is well between SRK and Farah and she says, "There's no stress between SRK and me. In fact, he's very happy for me and our production house and has offered every kind of help that I might need while doing the film."
