A question for Mr Devgan first, after delivering stellar performances in Bhoot, Qayamat and Gangaajal et al. why would you sign a run-of-the-mill movie with routine dancing around the trees and few phony looking villians? Why would you sign Parwana, the movie that reminds us 90's Devgan, brash, unruly and always ready to punch your lights out?
While only Mr. Devgan can answer the above question, all I can do is spill some beans about its storyline. Deepak Bahry's Parwana is a story of an orphan - who lives in a basti. He has one mission to help the poor- for that he does odd jobs without harming anyone.
In a very humorous way a girl (Amisha Patel) comes in his life- both like each other & they get married - but the destiny had something else for them. 'Parwana' falls into trap of villians, who are the Traitors. He is stamped as a traitor as well and put behind the bars. He has to escape from the jail to prove his innocence.
Now his only mission is to expose those villians before the country and for this, he fights tooth and nail. 'Parwana' is for love. 'Parwana' is for sacrifice. 'Parwana' is for nation. 'Parwana' is for action.
The film also stars Pooja Batra, Ketki Dave, Akhilendra Mishra, Pramod Motho, Gulshan Grover, Sadashiv Amrapurkar,Sayaji Shinde, Kadar Khan & Sahrat Saxena in the supporting roles. The music of the film is composed by Sanjeev Darshan.
