She was dressed in an animal print off-neck gown, as she sashayed down the ramp like a pro to the music of ‘Yeah' by Usher. Giving her company was Neil, who was especially in Chennai for the event, wearing a red coloured semi-formal jacket and flaunting his killer smile.
Says Neil, "Walking the ramp on the very first day of such a momentous occasion was a huge honour. Mark my word, the day I get married, it will be your Sidney who will do the job."
Namitha, talking about her experience at the CIFW, said, "I was nervous as hell and took a deep breath to calm myself down, before I walked the ramp. It was such a pleasure walking with Neil, I thought he would be a snob, but I was pleasantly surprised."
Also making an entrance in her trademark bubbly style, the effervescent Genelia D' Souza sashayed and shimmied down the ramp in a red velvet and lace number for designer Ishita Singh. "This is an extremely special and emotional moment for me because I started my film career in Chennai. I'm usually known as a tomboy, so this gorgeous feminine creation should shut every body up now" she said.
