Bollywood star Aamir Khan has designed shoes for his latest movie "3 Idiots", which will be released Friday.

The actor has especially designed a range of Converse shoes with what he calls 'doodle designs'. These shoes, worn by Aamir, R. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi in the movie, are being sold through a 24-hour shopping TV channel HomeShop18 on a show called "Converse 3 Idiots collection".

"Every youngster today gets inspired by what their favourite actors are wearing in the movies. They also want to make their own style statement by sporting the same. HomeShop18 has always been offering its consumers the best in fashion, therefore this time it has got merchandise from one of the most awaited movies of the year, " said Sundeep Malhotra, CEO, HomeShop18.

"'3 Idiots' movie merchandise is a rage right now and everyone can shop conveniently sitting at home through our channel, " he added.

On the show, HomeShop18 anchors will be selling the exclusive merchandise from "3 Idiots" by giving out all details like material, design and other features. The shoes are available in red and black with multi-coloured laces.

The film is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and also stars Kareena Kapoor.
