2009 got me the most amazing role in Paa. Watching Mr Bachchan at work I realized that I was going on the right track. Being focused on your work to the point of shutting out everything else is not something I needed to feel guilty about. That's the lesson I want to implement in 2010.
Now after playing a mother to a 13-year old in Paa I'm all set to be seen as this full-blown seductive sexually-charged woman in Ishqiya. It's a role character and territory that are totally alien to me, I enjoyed getting into the sensuous space.
It brings an entirely new perspective to my personality for the audience. That's what I'm hoping for in 2010...to find new aspects to my personality through the roles I play. As for a man, I can't see anyone door-door tak. Find me a man as cultured and suave as Gulzar Saab and I'd gladly exchange my single status for companionship."

I can't go too far for the vacation because on Jan 2 my film for Yashraj Films with Deepika Padukone starts. In 2010 I hope to further strengthen my position as an actor.

I don't have any New Year resolution. But I've been working very hard on this fun activity for the past few months which I can't talk about until I've mastered it. No it isn't film-related.
I do have a life beyond the movies, you know. And on New Years we will share a very non-filmy evening at home. Beyond that my only resolution for 2010 is, Love Yourself."
Irrfan Khan: "On every festive occasion I try to visit my mother on Jaipur. It isn't always possible. But for the New Year I had made plans to be home from long ago.So that's where I am right now.
And that's where I like to be to bring in the new year. My mother waits for my visits so she can pamper and feed me. When I'm home I feel like a child.
Beyond the New Year I've made no plans.I've noticed every time I've chalked out a plan for myself life has humbled me. I leave all my plans to God.I must say he does a good job of it. I hope he continues to do so this year."
Mugda Godse: "I am dancing at a live performance in Delhi on New Years eve, then spend the New Years with family and close friends. In the new year the entire family is hoping to do the kind of work that would please the audience and carry the company forward. The family's New Year wishes? May 2010 being peace and wellbeing.
May it fill us with pride as a nation. May our glory spread further. May we progress in all walks of life. And may the year keep me alive to witness the country, the film industry and my family prosper and progress. What do I look forward to in the coming year? For the year to pass peacefully. Looking forward to each day."
Dino Morea: "Christmas and New Years are always very important for us at home. We have a grand Christmas and Thanksgiving at home with the entire family gathering around the tree. This year my parents are flying down to Mumbai from Bangalore and my two brother are also going to be there.
We had a Christmas celebration with gifts around the tree, big dinner and everything else. For New Years' eve it would just be the family and some close friends over for dinner.
This is a crucial New Year for me because I've a big release in the first week of January.Pyaar Impossible is my first Yashraj film. So I'm looking forward to its release. My new year resolution is to do only quality work. I don't want to be taken for granted anymore."
