Have you noticed that perfect grin on Amisha's face, in these last three days?
The pretty lady just couldn't stop smiling after she bagged Aishwarya's prestigious role from the film, '1857 The Rising'.
"I guess it was destined to happen", she gushes.
"I didn't even know but at the onset there were three girls short listed for the project – Aishwarya, Rani and me. I was caught by surprise when I got the offer", she further explains.
Aishwarya decided to opt out from this Amir Khan starrer after she demanded to double her contract money in wake of her new found recognition in the west. But the producer Bobby Bedi was unrelenting and gracefully showed her the exit.
Will replacing Ash cause bad blood between the two leading ladies?
"No, I don't think so", replies the gujju lass.
"I am not doing the film as a vindictive move to replace Aishwarya. I think she is mature enough not to feel bad about it", adds Amisha, an inveterate Aamir fan.
'The Rising' is the second period film for Amisha, after 'Gadar', which took box office by storm. Will she able to recreate the magic, just wait and watch!
