Post Bhoot, Urmila has taken a U-turn on her choice of work. Shedding her 'Hot' image, the pretty lass opted for the serious film like Pinjar and stole the show with her stellar performance too.
As expected, things changed and the 'Mast girl' shot into the limelight with her new avatar.
Very recently, when United Nations Development Programme approached Urmila to shoot a music video, depicting the easing of relations between India and Pakistan, the actress readily agreed without a flinch.
The video will be shot in Lahore and Islamabad by Prahlad Kakkar, a noted adman, and will feature Pakistani band 'Fuzon'.
Urmila entered Pakistan via the Wagah border as soon as the gates were opened on both sides of the border. The actress was accompanied by her father.
"I'm a torch-bearer of love and peace. That's why I did the film like Pinjar," she told reporters on her arrival.
Asserting that both countries must favour harmonious relations, free from hatred, she said cinema could be a powerful binding factor between the two countries.
This is Matondkar's first visit to Pakistan. On the tour, she will be meeting top personalities of Pakistani cinema and television industry besides some singers, musicians and poets.
