Ram Gopal Varma's Rann has created already created waves for its interesting take on the media world. The movie promos indicate a sharp perception of news channels which has left everyone wonder as to what is it that RGV has to offer through this film.

To which the director Ram Gopal Verma says, "It does expose the media but that doesn't mean in a bad light. I have tried to show the reality of media that includes all the aspects of it. Media today has become a reflection of the society and Rann too showcases certain aspects of it.It's a drama set against the backdrop of media."

The movie has an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan along with Ritesh Deshmukh, Gul Panag, Suchitra Krishnamurthy and Neetu Chandra. The entire media is inquisitive about the movie and is eagerly awaiting the release which is due for the release on January 29.
