Funnyman Arshad Warsi who has regaled us time and again with his Circuit act in Munnabhai franchise is all set to show
yet another facet to his acting with 'Ishqiya' which is the directorial debut Vishal Bhardwaj's protégé Abhishek Chaubey.
The super excited actor exclaims, "Badi mushkil se to aisi film aati hai, (films with such subjects are hard to get by) the
kind of scripts that I have to listen to will convince lesser mortals to leave the profession altogether.
On an average
I don't like 99 percent of the scripts I am narrated, " Adding on a funny note, he says, "if things go on like this I soon might
have to find a job!"
It can be safely said that Arshad has hooked high hopes from this film as he confesses, "It's an experience that I will
cherish my whole life. There are certain films that might not work wonders on box-office, but it don't matter.
The
process of shooting a film is a much bigger and enriching experience. 'Kabul Express', 'Seher', 'Aisa Bhi Hota Hai' and now
'Ishqiya' is one of those films."
The film boasts of an ensemble cast of Naseeruddin Shah, Arshad Warsi and Vidya Balan and is slated for release on 29th
January 2010.
