A loud applause still moves Bollywood super star Amitabh Bachchan.

"A thunderous and prolonged applause at the end of a scene that I perform towards the end of the film, moved me to tears, " the 67-year-old posted on his blog www.bigb.bigadda.com Thursday night, when he was here for the premiere of his latest movie "Rann".

"I cannot remember it happening to me in recent times, nor in times past - an audience applause in the middle of my film, at the end of a scene or dialogue. But it happened tonight at the premier of 'Rann', " he added.

Released Friday, the media drama has been directed by Ram Gopal Varma. It also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Gul Panag and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles.
