Okay we all know 'Khakee' bombed despite some brilliant performances but what's the need of rubbing it in the face of Mr Santoshi, who touted his dream project as a runaway hit.
But who'd tell it to Mallika Sherawat, the jat girl, who doesn't give two hoots what he thinks.
"Despite Mr. Bachchan's presence and all the other big names including Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Aishwarya et al - the film's initial was only 48 percent. Isn't that dismal by any standards," she asks scornfully.
But why this dig on 'Khakee' Mallika?
"I don't have a Bachchan or a Kapoor tag against my name, but my film has generated enough interest among movie watchers in the country."
"And compared to a Big B starrer, ‘Khakee', my film has done extremely well, but no one seems to be talking about it," boasts Mallika, who relished 17 smooched in her debut film 'Khwahish'.
Ohhh... now we see your point Mallika. Every big flop will make your small flop look bigger. What a morale booster!!!
When last heard, Sherawat had signed a new film, aptly named, 'Kis Kiski Kismat'. But it's the Bhatt venture 'Murder', which is all set to create the headlines. Why??? Hear it from the lady itself...
"I am portraying a 25 year old girl, whose husband is impotent. You can just imagine how boring and lonely a life would be for a girl trapped in such marriage. I am only reliving all those horrific tales onscreen," she elucidates.
Hit or Flop we don't know but one thing is for sure, the fun never sets on Mallika? What do you say?
