It took Raveena a bit longer to fulfill her dream of having a princess like wedding but Bollywood's Mast Mast girl fulfilled it, nevertheless, in Udaipur.
Amidst the royal grandeur, Anil Thadani, a film distributor, exchanged the wedding vows with Raveena at 17th century Jag Mandir Palace Hotel here.
The historic palace, which has played host to Emperor Shah Jahan more than 400 years ago, was exquisitely decorated for the special occasion.
The groom's procession started from sunset terrace of Fateh Prakash Hotel with many of the baratis dancing to the tunes of hit film songs. After winding its way through a maze of narrow lanes of the city, barat reached the Banshi ghat of Pichchola lake where the groom and baratis boarded flower-decked boats, owned by former Udaipur royals.
The skyline was lit up with up some excellent fireworks as soon as Anil reached the venue. Bedecked in diamond jewellery Raveena wore the same wedding dress which her mother wore 35 years back for her own marriage.
As our Bollywood princess took the saat phere with Thadani, a divorcee, umpteen people along with some respected dignitaries like Ravi Shankar Prasad, Vasundhara Raje, Amar Singh, Ravi Shastri, Jackie Shroff and John Abraham showered their blessings.
The marriage was a completely non-alcoholic affair, with a traditional Punjabi touch - as Raveena is a Punjabi - but with a Rajasthani backdrop.
