'Kucch To Hai' ! All those superfluous Ks are missing and so is the kid brother Tusshsar.
No wonder it takes a while before you could actually believe that 'Krishna Cottage' is a latest thriller from Bala Ji films. Perhaps, Ekta Kapoor has learnt her lesson that she needs 'something more' than those extra alphetbets to make it a hit with the audience.
And that 'something more' in Krishna Cottage is fear. Though a love story, the film scares you to the core unlike the the overdone mushy sagas that Bollywood has been churning off late.
It's a story of Manav (Sohail Khan), Shanti (Natassha) and Disha (Ishaa Koppikar), their love and the heartbreak. But then heartbreaks can be fatal for some people.
There begins the horror tale when, blinded by obsession, the jilted lover blurs the fine line between life and death.
What happens next? Who is this obsessive lover? Keep guessing...
The film was initially named Kimberley Cottage but according to the elder sibling it wasn't gelling very well with the masses. Hence, she settled for the name 'Krishna Cottage'.
Natassha does the raunchy 'item' number after 'ding dong' in the movie and the music is by Anu Malik. The movie is directed by Santram Varma who directed Kyonki... and Kahin Kisi roz for Balaji Telefilms.
The film also stars Rati Agnihotri, Divya Palat, Vrajesh Hirjee and Raj Zutshi.
