When Prafful from a famous comedy series, Khichdi says, "Main Hoon Na", it brings smile on the faces of some of us but when SRK utters the same it brings joy to the faces of all and sundry including his distributors and choreographer turned director Farah Khan.
So pull your socks, the king of Box office is here muttering his new mantra on his way back to school.
This time, he is not Raj or Rahul, he is Major Ram Prasad Sharma, son of the late Brigadier Shekhar Sharma (Naseeruddin Shah). Ram is assigned the task of managing 'Mission Milap', which will bridge the political gap between India and Pakistan.
So he goes undercover and decides to operate his mission from a school. Only the Prinipal (Boman Irani) is aware of his real identity.
But some forces do not want that dawn to come. One of them is Professor Raghavan (Suniel Shetty), the physics teacher, who will do anything to prevent the strategic move.
For this reason his devious shadow looms large over General Amerjeet Bakshi's daughter Sanjana (Amrita Rao) , whose life is in danger.
On the campus, Ram comes across Laxman (Zayed Khan) whom he takes an instant liking to. Sanjana is in love with Laxman, but until now she has kept this as a closely guarded secret. Then there is Chandni (Sushmita Sen), the chemistry teacher, who has swept Ram off his feet.
Kiron Kher is Lucky's mother, Madhu Sharma (Kiron Kher). For some odd reason, Ram feels he knows her. So who is this woman and how is she related to him?
Will Ram be able to succeed in his mission?
Venus and Gauri Khan (Shah Rukh's wife) join hands to produce 'Main Hoon Na' under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. The music of the film is composed by Anu Malik and Javed Akhtar pens the lyrics.
