No, we didn't get our latest story from one of those 'Ripley's Believe it or not' episodes, but it's the trade guides that are telling us so.
Katrina Kaif's latest movie 'Malleswari' is a major hit down south.
For those who've seen Boom, it may come as a bit of a shock, but it's true. No wonder Kaif is on the seventh sky. She plays a princess, who falls for a common man, in 'Malleswari', which draws it's inspiration from Gregory Peck-Audrey Hepburn hit, Roman Holiday.
The critics, who had earlier panned Katrina for her debut venture Boom, are quite unforgiving for her southern tryst too.
"It has nothing to do with Kaif. It's the sole charisma of superstar Venkatesh, which has left the box office ringing," claims a leading critic. But critics be damned, Katrina is not leaving any opportunity to bask in the glory of success.
"It was a wonderful experience to work in the film and now when it has become such a big success I'm enjoying every moment of it," she quips.
Right said Katrina, sometimes the biggest opportunities of life come when you're down under.
