Kareena Kapoor will be seen playing a stylish and glamorous mother to an eight-year-old in Anubhav Sinha's Ra.One. Seeing the way she carries herself and is presented on screen, we are certain she will pull this one off with as much élan.

According to sources, Kareena was reluctant to play the typical mother. She wanted to portray today's modern woman and chose to be a glamorous mother instead. Her look will be designed by Manish Malhotra.

She was unwilling to play a drab-looking mother and made sure her look included skirts, short dresses and so on. Manish will be dressing her up in his latest Spring/Summer collection.

Manish, who happens to be Kareena's favorite designer, states that the film is set in London and she needs to dress keeping a modern mother in mind.
