Here's a ‘lost-and- found' tale that makes for a perfect Bollywood script. Jennifer Mistry-Bansiwal, aka Mrs. Roshan Sodhi of Taarak Mehta ka ooltah chashmah fame, lost her mobile in Mumbai and then found it in Ujjain four months later in far off Ujjain. Adding spice to the tale is that Jennifer herself played a proactive part in finding her phone.

On 22 September, 2009, Bansiwal's two phones were frisked from her make-up room whilst she was in the closet. Despite having lodged a complaint at the nearby police station, Bansiwal met with disappointment. Destiny though wasn't going to disappoint her totally as she would go on to find one of her phones.

"Luckily, I had a software installed in my Nokia 5800 Express music phone which enabled me to track the SIM and the phone number. The first number was traced to Chhattisgarh and the subsequent one in Ujjain.

Here, the Mumbai police directed us to contact the police in those states. I myself posed as an official of Unique Solutions that and announced a gift voucher of Rs.25, 000. The caller got tricked and immediately gave all his contact details, " said Bansiwal.

Despite having honed on the location it wasn't an easy task to retrieve the mobile.

"Well, we couldn't accuse the current user of being a thief. Obviously, the phone must have changed several hands. He had all the documents to prove his purchase.

Luckily, a distant friend of mine happened to know the DSP of Ujjain. It's only when the DSP intervened that this gentleman agreed to hand over the phone.

Few days later, it was couriered to me and I got the delivery on 9 January, 2010.. To my utmost surprise, the phone turned out to be in excellent condition. I'm really lucky to have found one phone, " the actress sighed.

This plot sounds good, how about filming it?

(Laughs)! "Yeah, why not? In fact, the creative team in Taarak was contemplating on having such a track in the show. I'm sure it will work out well, " she replied.

Well, all's well that ends well. We can a sequel too if Jennifer happens to find her other phone too.
