Indian polity witnessed history when the Women's Reservation Bill was finally cleared in both houses (Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha). This historic bill allows for 33 % reservation for women in parliament and all assemblies. The bill, aimed at empowerment of women, was cleared after 14 long years.

We decide to look at the lighter side of this bill. While the women's reservation bill is passed, there our certain pending bills or desired purchases of our pretty TV actresses which they'd like the government to clear.

On camera, they play gaon ki chori, but off it these women certainly believe in splurging money on all the goodies of life. Let's learn about the pending bills and desires of some of our small screen's lovely women.

As these women would say, "Mr. Minister, please clear this women's bill"

Rubina Dilaik

I want the government to pay my phone bill. Not that it's too high but I can't pay it due to lack of time. The approximate billing amount is Rs.7, 000 only.

On 24 of every month, I get the bill but the paucity of time doesn't allow me to clear it. Thus the network provider often disconnects my line. I'm then left to literally beg to my employers for a day off so that I can clear the bill.

Though, I'm not so outspoken, I use my phone to log on to social networking websites. It's my humble request to the government to clear my phone bill.

Gunjan Walia

I live with my aunt, so I don't have to pay a heavy rent. However, what hits my purse is branded watches, clothes, shoes/sandals and hand bags. Among clothes, I prefer brands such as Mango, Tommy Hilfiger and Benetton.

However, it's the bill for bags and shoes which I'd like our dear MPs to clear. Usually, I spend about Rs. 25, 000 on shoes and sandals. I've got about 25 pairs of shoes/sandals and 20 branded bags.

However, it's the Louis Vuitton bag that still eludes my cupboard. The minimum one is priced at Rs.1lakh. If only the government can foot this bill and also bear a 33 percent share of my clothes ware, that I'd be a truly content lady.

Pooja Gor

I'm not much of a shopaholic, so I'd like the government to clear my electricity bill which is a meager Rs.1000. However, I do have a fetish for Charles & Keith shoes and bags.

These usually hit my purse by Rs, 40, 000. Along with the electricity bill, I'll appreciate if the government can pay for my Charles & Keith expense. Oh! I forgot about the monthly mobile bill too. That's only about Rs.4, 500.

Natasha Sharma

I'm a simple girl with simple needs. As a workaholic, I seldom get time to shop or socialise. The only bill pending is my mobile phone bill that's due for a while.

My credit limit is Rs, 4000 and I've already crossed Rs. 3, 000. There's no Air Tel gallery near my resident. I'll be highly grateful to the government if they could take care of this little expense.

Priyanka Mishra

I hate credits. So, far God's been kind as I'm able to bear most of my monthly expenses. I can manage food, clothing and shelter but it's the cosmetics which hampers my savings. I usually spend about 15 grand. That surely isn't too much for the government.

Neha Marda

Let's get straight into my monthly (approximate) expense.

Beauty parlour: Rs. 25, 000, Cosmetics: Rs. 1.5 lakhs (one time purchase), Isabella Bags: Rs. 40, 000 (desired Louis Vuitton), Prada Shoes: Rs. 40, 000, Clothes: Rs. 30, 000,

Gym: Rs 25, 000 (annually), Mobile bill: Rs. 9, 000, Restaurant (JW Marriot) bills: Rs.7, 000 (for three persons only), House rent: Rs.26, 000

Savings: Dad knows best.

I won't nominate any particular bill but the government can feel free to clear any one of them.

Our plea to the Chair

Honorable Chair members please look into the pleas of our small screen beauties with an open heart. Some needs are basic while few are exorbitant in nature. Our plea to you is that even if you can't clear this women's bill at least don't send a taxman to their house.
