Produced by Nikhil Panchammiya, the film is about three couples played by Dimple Kapadia-Nana Patekar, Suniel Shetty-Vidya Malvade and Anjana Sukhani-Rehan Khan.
"'Tum Milo Toh Sahi' is a film about human victory, when ordinary people come together to combine their strengths and stand by what they believe in, " Sadanand had been quoted as saying.
Nana is teaming up with Dimple after 16 years in the film. Their last outing together was "Krantiveer" in 1994.
"The film is about relationships. Throughout your life, it is the circumstances that keep changing. And due to these, the demands from different relationships change. The film portrays how, despite ups and downs, it is conserving the relations that remains the utmost priority and not the circumstances, " said Nana.
Set in modern day Mumbai, the film weaves together the lives of three couples and gives the message that love is the driving force in people's lives, irrespective of age.
While Nana and Dimple's story is about the meeting of souls, Suniel and Vidya's is the meeting of minds and Rehan and Anjana's is about the meeting of hearts.
Subramanium (Nana) dedicated his life tending to his ailing mother till her end. At 60, he is forced into retirement. Now what? The journey takes disgruntled and cynical Subramanium to Delshad (Dimple) who embraces life- enriching feeling called love.
Amit (Suniel) and Anita (Vidya) are in the throes of a mid-life crisis and excitement of being in love is now a distant memory for them.
Bikramjeet (Rehan) arrives in Mumbai from up North to experience city life before joining the Army. He falls in love with Shalini (Anjana), an ambitious Mumbai girl. Through the film, the boy who comes to Mumbai becomes the man he was to be and finds his true calling in life.
Sadanand, who has co-written the story with Rajen Makhijani, is presenting the film without a heavy dose of melodrama. Sandesh Shandilya has composed the music.
