Shah Rukh Khan has been approached to host a weekly game show by Sony TV. The channels 'Jeeto Chhappar Phaad Ke' will cease to be on air by October. Sony has reportedly offered the Badshah a sum of Rs 25 crores to host the show. It seems Shah Rukh has given his nod for it.The stage is all set for the matching of wits with Big B on the small screen, much like their encounter last year on the silver screen in 'Mohabbatein'.

It was Govinda who conveyed to Shahrukh at a recent party that Sony wanted him as their new anchor.Govinda told Shahrukh that he would be winding up his act by October. Sony plans to start its new show by Diwali and it will be a weekly affair. Shahrukh has given his in principle nod, and if everything goes according to plan, the shooting will start in September. Sony wants the show's debut to be in tandem with the release of Shahrukh's'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham'.
