Be it flamboyant Munna Bhai or naive Raghu of 'Vaastav', no one essays the role of a ganglord like Sanju Baba. But before you shrug 'Musafir' as one of his regular flick, please pause for a moment to recognise this new face.
Anil Kapoor as Lucky. A hapless guy, who has seen enough troubles for one lifetime. From various orphanages to juvenile delinquent homes, from petty crimes to jail sentences; he has seen it all.
Fed up of living a dishonest life, Lucky wants to start afresh. With a dream of buying a small plot of land in Bangalore, where he will raise his family, he gives into the temptation of committing one last crime that will fetch him enough money and secure his future.
But his going gets tough when he finds himself duped by his girlfriend itself. Now a dreaded drug lord (Sanjay Dutt) is after him and baying for his blood.
To save himself from the clutches of death, he had to carry out an assignment on behalf of the mafia. An roller coaster ride begins for this 'Musafir', where he strikes a deal with a group of Israelis.
But he is not alone on this journey. A mysterious lass (Sameera Reddy) is following her. His bad luck refuses to die as he loses the money which he got from the deal. That is not all. He is chased by a police officer (Aditiya Pancholi) who is hot on his trail.
Directed by Sanjay Gupta, 'Musafir' leads to a power packed climax when he is offered another deal involving the same amount for a contract killing by Sameera's husband (Mahesh Manjrekar).
Sanjay Gupta is releasing a double album under two different titles - Musafir Lounge and Musafir Club. The music of the film is composed by Vishal and Shekhar.
