Followed by the grand success of 'Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya' and it's Telugu version titled 'Ye Maaya Chesavo',
filmmaker Gowtham Menon is all set to remake the film in Hindi. The film will be produced by Gowtham Menon in
collaboration with a Hindi film production company.
The Tamil version featuring Kollywood's heartthrob Silambarasan and hottie Trisha in lead roles was released on
February 26 and stands out as a top-drawer in box office.
On the pars, the Telugu version (Nagarjuna's son
Naga Chaitanya and newcomer Samantha) was released on the same day and indeed witnessed favorable results
amongst Tollywood buffs.
Since Ajith Kumar is busy now taking part in Formula 2 racing tournament, Gowtham Menon has decided to take
off with the Hindi remake instantaneously.
According to the sources, the filmmaker is busy now on the
pursuit of lead across and if what we heard from the closer sources is believed to be true, then Ranbir Kapoor
maybe his first choice as the young lad has the appealing charisma to get featured as a cool romantic
chap.
A.R. Rahman will be retaining the same tunes for the Hindi remake with an additional song.
