It was being seen as Farooq Sheikh's comeback to television but, sadly, it won't happen now. Looks like a change in production has also brought about a little change in the cast of Zee TV's upcoming show Karegi Mera Naam Roshan. Farooq Sheikh, who was earlier tipped to play the protagonist's father, is no longer part of the show.

Confirming the news, Sheikh says, "I'm not a part of that serial anymore. We couldn't agree on certain terms. But I wish the project all the success."

It's now widely buzzed that Vikram Gokhale, another seasoned actor, will now be essaying this role.

"After Sheikh, the makers have approached Vikram Gokhale for the father's role. This character will die, thereby leading to a feud between the brothers over the property.

Yashpal Sharma plays the oldest sibling while Anirudh Dave might play the younger son. Sana Sheikh plays the young daughter and the protagonist. Other actors include Sheetal Dabholkar and Lubna Salim, " informed a source.

Producer JD Majethia didn't reply to our text message. We called a few other actors as well, but they refused to comment.
