Khali, who hails from Himachal Pradesh, is favourite in the WWE scenairo and had a successful stint with the same before moving on to Hollywood. Mattel, the world's largest toy maker, has partnered with WWE to launch the action- packed toys in India with a special event at Hamleys, the new toy destination in Mumbai.
"The WWE range of action figures particularly inspired by The Great Khali should be an instant hit with children and adults alike and a welcome addition," said Sudhir Pai, vice president and head of Hamleys India.
Apart from Khali's action figure, the company's toy range also features other wrestlers stars like John Cena, CM Punk and Ray Mysterio.
Karun Gera, commercial director, Mattel India, said: "Capturing all the drama and excitement that makes the WWE a worldwide phenomenon, these action figures and role-play items reinforce our commitment to bringing the most exciting and innovative toys to Indian children."
Khali has acted in movies like Adam Sandler starrer "The longest Yard and "Steve Carell-Anne Hathaway comedy "Get Smart".
