Karan Johar put an end to all speculation when he tweeted recently that he will be coming back with Season 3 of Koffee With Karan. He tweeted, "Hey guys!! Am doing KOFEE WITH KARAN...SEASON 3!!! It should be out july-august 2010...will keep you all posted with details!! Am excited!"

Apparently, the details will be worked out among Karan, the production house and the channel only after Karan returns from his US trip.

The show's first season went on air in 2004, with Karan's good friends Shah Rukh and Kajol as the interviewees in the first episode. The season ended in 2005 and Karan took a break to shoot Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.

The second season ran in 2007 till Karan had to again return to his directorial commitments for My Name Is Khan. The buzz is that this time too, the first episode will feature Shah Rukh Khan.

Other celebrities who have appeared on the show are Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Preity Zinta, Richard Gere, Zeenat Aman, Hema Malini, Sanjay Dutt with sister Priya, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Mallika Sherawat.
