Even voting for himself or having friends who urged people to vote for him did not get Shah Rukh Khan a spot in Time Magazine's list of the world's most influential people.
The list, which was released by the magazine on April 29, has quite a few Indians on it, but not Shah Rukh. He had been one among the top 20 in the online voting, and had even tweeted about that, but since the list was released, Shah Rukh has not remarked on the disappointment.
Those Indians who did make the list include cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, entrepreneur Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, author Chetan Bhagat, eye surgeon Dr Perumalsamy Namperumalsamy, educationist Sanjit 'Bunker' Roy and US based doctor of Indian origin, Atul Gawande.
