Salman Khan's Dabangg is the first film to be shot at the Dubai Metro station

After getting required permissions, the cast and crew shot a few scenes and a song sequence at the Khalid Bin Al Waleed station over the weekend.

Scene it all
Locals thronged to the station after they heard news of Salman shooting there. The shooting took place on three different levels.

A majority of the scenes were shot near the ticket counter, a few scenes were canned on the platform and some were interior shots of the train. It is all part of a dream sequence song featuring Khan and leading lady Sonakshi Sinha.

Arbaaz confirms, "Dabangg is the first film to be shot at the Dubai Metro. We had a blanket permission to shoot anywhere. It was a wonderful experience for the whole cast and crew."
