After doing a diving scene in Housefull, Deepika Padukone now plans to take up scuba diving and become a certified diver.

She began lessons during the making of Housefull and will continue them during her Mauritius schedule of Break Ke Baad.

A source close to Deepika says, "She loves swimming in the ocean and after doing deep-sea diving in Puglia (Italy), she now wants to take it up seriously and get a certificate.

She needs to complete a certain number of lessons before getting the certificate." They have to be completed in the open sea, and so, the Mauritius schedule for BKB is perfectly suited for her.

Confirming this, the actress says, "I love swimming. I had to learn scuba diving for a few days during Housefull. Now I need to do a few more classes in the deep sea to become a certified diver.

I have complete part of the course, I will be doing the remaining course in Mauritius." Does she get a chance to swim often? "Not so regularly in Mumbai but I love the water!"
