The countdown has begun with just about a month to go for the release of Rajneeti. Prakash Jha's magnum opus based on politics is among the most anticipated films this year.

The final campaign trail kicked off at an uptown surburban hotel recently. It had the entire team and members of the media in attendance. A surprise element of the campaign was revealed then.

The team of Rajneeti has come up with a special video of the National Anthem. They have composed and shot a video which features the entire team.

Clad in white, they pay tribute to the National Anthem against the backdrop of the Indian flag. The team is certainly promoting their film in a big way. Director Prakash Jha was happy with the way the film has shaped up.

"I have given it my best shot as a filmmaker. The entire cast has worked with complete dedication. I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who was involved with the making of the film, " he says.

Jha is also the producer, has done the scripting and has worked on the technical aspects of Rajneeti. The team will also travel to colleges across the country to spread awareness about politics.

The new video of the National Anthem is certainly a novel promotional device. They plan to donate it to cinema halls to be played before the screenings. So the next time you're in a theatre standing up for the National Anthem, don't be surprised to find Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, and Arjun Rampal singing along with you!
