Karan Johar is often the butt of jokes because of his fondness for fashion. He's used to it and immune too.

Last week the MNIK director had a bit of a case when the fire alarm went off at 2 am in his hotel in New York.

Later he tweeted, "The fire alarm in my hotel went off...what was scary was the visual of everyone in the lobby in their sleep gear without make up."

Good friend Shah Rukh couldn't help make a dig at this obversation and he retaliated with, "I am sure you were the only one still well turned out. You must be also have a wardrobe for fire alarm emergencies in hotels."

We won't be surprised if he does.
