Arshad Warsi, who received both critical and commercial acclaim for his comic roles in "Munnabhai" series, is now gearing up to play the serious role of a cop in his next film.

"'Shaitan' is a crime thriller and I am playing a cop... It is a serious role, " the actor posted on his Twitter page.

Arshad tickled the funny bone of the audiences in "Golmaal" too.
